Vietnam Grants Visa Exemption for Polish, Czech, and Swiss Tourists Until End of 2025

Under Government Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP issued on January 15, 2025, Vietnam will waive visa requirements for tourists from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland starting March 1, 2025. This measure is part of the 2025 Tourism Development Stimulus Program aimed at boosting inbound tourism.

Eligible travelers from these countries participating in tours organized by Vietnamese tour operators will be allowed to enter Vietnam without a visa for stays of up to 45 days, regardless of passport type, provided they meet the country’s entry requirements.

The visa exemption will remain in effect from March 1 to December 31, 2025.

In addition, Vietnam continues to offer unilateral visa exemptions for citizens of 13 other countries—Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belarus—with the same 45-day stay limit.
